Maintenance

Our redecoration team will make your apartment move-in ready and our management team looks at the apartment before we show it to you so that you have a satisfactory move-in experience. Management also places a welcome home card and quick reference phone number magnet on the refrigerator.

Yes, we have 24-hour maintenance.

You can contact our 24-hour emergency maintenance or to place a non-emergency work order you can do so through your resident services account or by contacting the office.

Emergencies are handled the same day, otherwise you are able to schedule a day when you would like maintenance to stop by.

It is not required if you give our maintenance personnel permission to enter if you are not home.

You can contact the stand-by maintenance technician, via the stand-by emergency number, and a maintenance technician will unlock your apartment after your identification has been verified.

You may decorate as you wish. We just ask that if you wish to paint that you prime back to a neutral color before you move out. Any major alterations would have to be approved by management.

Amenities

We have a swimming pool, rentable clubhouse, and a green area with a playground and volleyball net.

Our swimming pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Parking is first come, first serve for all residents and guests.

Our apartments don't have washer or dryer hookups; however, there are on-site laundry facilities for residents in each building.

Our entire community is cat and dog friendly.

There is a $150 non-refundable pet fee and $20 per month pet rent.

Yes, we do restrict by weight, requiring that one pet weigh less than 75 lbs. or two pets weigh less than 100 lbs. We have breed restrictions as well, specified in the lease agreement and pet addendum.

We do not have a pet park at our community.

In the apartment you will have a refrigerator, gas stove, and an A/C unit.

We do not offer any option for furnished apartments but we do partner with the rental company CORT. Please feel free to contact us about our referral program!

Yes, our shortest lease term is 6 months.

Yes, we offer corporate housing through VIA by Edward Rose. Please contact your Leasing Office for more information.

Due to COVID-19 we will no longer be able to accept packages in our office.

We do have a 24-hour noise policy and request that residents keep noise at a reasonable volume. Our community building is available for rent to our residents for $175.

We do accept both appointment and walk-in guests.

We have multiple management staff members available throughout the day.

You can either go online to concordplaceapartments.com or if you wish to stop on into the office to view what we have to offer we do have laptops available for you to use.

Generally an application takes anywhere from 24-48 hours once we have received all necessary information.

Price will vary based upon your preferences. Move-in costs include pro-rated first month's rent to the day you move in, Security deposit, Administrative fee, and any other extras that you may desire, like a pet, Internet or basic cable.

Keep your apartment in good condition after you move in so that you get as much of the deposit back as possible as well as submitting the application sooner rather than later to get the apartment style you desire.

We have multiple options for paying your rent. You can pay online through your resident services account, W.I.P.S., or you can mail in a payment to our P.O. Box.

Through your resident services account that you used to sign your lease. We accept credit, debit, or you can also pay with your banking account information.

In addition to your rent, monthly fees could include pet rent, internet, basic cable, or Dish Network.

Renters insurance is not required at our community.

Included with the price of rent is gas, water, sewer & trash services. You will need to have electricity set up in your name through Consumers Energy. Your electricity is only your lights, A/C unit, refrigerator, and anything else you may plug in.

To set up your electricity you will have to contact Consumers Energy directly by phone or by visiting their website.

We offer our own internet and cable services through Bloom Broadband. We do not allow any outside providers for either.

We ask that all guests be mindful of our community environment. The resident will be responsible for all actions of their guests.

We will go over all pricing options with you prior to confirming your move in. We do not currently offer any discounts for pre-payments.

We do not allow subletting of an apartment. If you are interested in moving out please contact us so that we may go over the Move-Out Procedure with you.

If you are intending on moving out we do require a minimum of a 60-day notice. If you happen to be breaking your lease early, an early termination fee will apply.

Location

We do have a Kalamazoo Metro Bus stop located at both our Concord Place Drive entrance and our Mount Royal Drive entrance. We are on lines 3 & 16.

We are centrally located between Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo Valley Community College, and Kalamazoo College. We also have a variety of shopping opportunities in the area as well.

Kalamazoo Public Schools

Meadow Run Dog Park is the closest dog park to our community (2.7 MI). There are also a variety of parks in the area as well.

Yes, Kal-Haven is a very popular bike trail that spans between South Haven and Kalamazoo.

Between Portage and Kalamazoo there are a variety of strip malls to choose from for all retail needs. We are also very close to Hardings and Walmart grocery stores as well as Kohl's, Lowe's, At Home Store, Field and Stream, and Costco.

There are Starbucks restaurants located on both West Main (1.1 MI) and Stadium Drive (.8 MI). There is also a Sweetwaters Donut Mill on Stadium Drive (2.5 MI).

Directions

We are located at 1548 Concord Place Drive, off KL Avenue just west of Drake Rd. If you're going west down KL Avenue you will see our sign on the right hand side and our office is the first building on the left-hand side.
